This is a call to Unity.
Resist the devil, and he will flee from you…
These words will fall short of their mark, for I am human, fallible. “For everyone has sinned, we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” Romans 3:23.
I write what I commence to write because I am not alone in my desire for lasting change and peace, for myself and others, for friends and loved ones, for future generations, for all of the people of the World and all of its creatures… for the future of humanity.
“Be the change you wish to see in the World.” – Mahatma Gandhi
I write because of the Fire Inside that never dies… that stirs my heart to action and compels me to do great things… the spirit that makes my heart beat and fills me with hope and faith and courage and love and life and light.
…so that you will know that you are not alone, as well. For your hope’s sakes, that together we can make a difference. That Change is possible. That, “Where there is Love, there is Life…” – Mahatma Gandhi, and that, “While I Breathe, I Hope…”
From the book of Galatians: 22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!
…There is a higher court than courts of justice, and that is the court of conscience. It supersedes all other courts.” -Mahatma Gandhi.
Ezekiel 33:11 tells us that the Sovereign Lord takes no pleasure in the death of wicked people… that he only wants them to turn from their wicked ways so that they can live.
…For GOD so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.
In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus tells us to Love our enemies. 43 “You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’[q] and hate your enemy. 44 But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! 45 In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. 46 If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much. 47 If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. 48 But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.
“We must learn to live together as Brothers, or perish together as Fools.” Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Our bodies are Temples. Together we make up the Body of Christ. We are commissioned to be the Church.
Romans 12 says,
12 And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. 2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
3 Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us. 4 Just as our bodies have many parts and each part has a special function, 5 so it is with Christ’s body. We are many parts of one body, and we all belong to each other.
6 In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well. So if God has given you the ability to prophesy, speak out with as much faith as God has given you. 7 If your gift is serving others, serve them well. If you are a teacher, teach well. 8 If your gift is to encourage others, be encouraging. If it is giving, give generously. If God has given you leadership ability, take the responsibility seriously. And if you have a gift for showing kindness to others, do it gladly.
9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other. 11 Never be lazy, but work hard and serve the Lord enthusiastically. 12 Rejoice in our confident hope. Be patient in trouble, and keep on praying. 13 When God’s people are in need, be ready to help them. Always be eager to practice hospitality.
14 Bless those who persecute you. Don’t curse them; pray that God will bless them. 15 Be happy with those who are happy, and weep with those who weep. 16 Live in harmony with each other. Don’t be too proud to enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!
17 Never pay back evil with more evil. Do things in such a way that everyone can see you are honorable. 18 Do all that you can to live in peace with everyone.
19 Dear friends, never take revenge. Leave that to the righteous anger of God. For the Scriptures say,
“I will take revenge;
I will pay them back,”
says the Lord.
20 Instead,
“If your enemies are hungry, feed them.
If they are thirsty, give them something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap
burning coals of shame on their heads.”
21 Don’t let evil conquer you, but conquer evil by doing good.
“Hate the sin, not the sinner.” - Mahatma Gandhi
Let us find strength in our weakness. Let us be strong in diversity. Let us overcome adversity with Love. Let us be United in Love. Let us bring about Peace and Change with Love. Let us come together and pray for that outcome as One.
I am encouraging others to consider obtaining custom Clothing for yourselves, with the word “Resistance” on the front, and your chosen name on the back, along with any meaningful personal picture or symbol.
Let it be known that my name is Fireorchid Bloodlotus. I am the Resistance. You are the Resistance… but there is no Resistance if We are not the Resistance. Amen.
I plant this seed in Faith… it is up to all of us, now, to grow it into an undeniable force for Good.
Until next time,
